Newsletter 10/4

WE’RE  BA-A-A-CK!
The day has finally arrived!  Sew & Sew Quilt Shop, 216 Hubert Street, Cleveland, Texas is officially opened for business.  As the new owner of Sew & Sew, I would like to invite you and your friends to stop by to see all the wonderful new Moda fabrics.  For your quilting and piecing needs, we also have Gutermann threads, battings, and notions.
I am particularly excited about the new Moda Grunge fabrics.  These are 100% cotton and the colors are delicious!  The designs are somewhat similar to Batiks, but even better.
HOURS
Sew & Sew will be open Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 5:30 pm. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.  The shop will be closed on Sunday and Monday.  Should a special need arise outside of these hours, I will be happy to accommodate your needs whenever possible.
CLASSES
As in the past, we will continue to have quilting classes at the beginner, intermediate and advanced levels.  Evening classes will be available on Thursdays, and some classes may be held on Saturdays.  On non-school days, children’s classes can be taught when a parent, grandparent, or other adult can accompany the child.  Costs of each class will be determined by the instructor and the difficulty of the project.  In some cases, kits will be available.  All classes will be scheduled and/or cancelled through Sew & Sew.  If you have a special pattern that you wish to learn, let me know and I will find an instructor for a class.
WEDNESDAY $5 SOCIAL
No classes will be held on Wednesdays; instead, we encourage you to bring your sewing machine and unfinished projects to the shop and we’ll chat while we sew.   Usually, one of the instructors will be available in the event you need assistance with your project.  We will charge $5 for the Wednesday social to help defray the costs of air conditioning/heating.  This “$5 social” day will be extended to any day in which classes are not being held so that space will be available for you to sew.
GIFT CERTIFICATES
As the holidays rapidly approach, you might want to start dropping hints about gift certificates from Sew & Sew.  They also make wonderful birthday (or any occasion) gifts.

I look forward to seeing each of you at Sew & Sew to share in the pleasure of creating a project worthy of passing down to future generations.
